ფარმაცევტული ბაზრის რეფორმის ფარგლებში, მოსახლეობისთვის ხარისხიან მედიკამენტებზე ხელმისაწვდომობის გაზრდის მიზნით, ჯანდაცვის მინისტრის ინიციატივით, სამედიცინო და ფარმაცევტული საქმიანობის რეგულირების სააგენტო სამკურნალო საშუალებებს პროაქტიულად არეგისტრირებს.

„ჩვენ, კანონით მინიჭებული შესაძლებლობა გამოვიყენეთ და სხვადასხვა მედიკამენტის რეგისტრაციას, პროაქტიულად, კომპანიის მომართვის გარეშეც ვახორციელებთ. ფარმაცევტულ კომპანიებს, შეუძლიათ, თამამად, ყოველგვარი ბიუროკრატიის გარეშე, პირდაპირ შემოიტანონ ქვეყანაში ეს წამლები. იყო შემთხვევები, როდესაც ზოგიერთი კომპანია, ანალოგ და შესაძლოა, უფრო შეღავათიანი ღირებულების წამლებს მიზანმიმართულად არ არეგისტრირებს, ან კონკურენციის გამო, რეგისტრაციას აუქმებს, რათა სხვას არ შემოეტანა პრეპარატი. ამ მექანიზმით კი, ეს რისკიც დაზღვეულია“, - განაცხადა ზურაბ აზარაშვილმა.
